Information Systems to Support FLM Efforts

The Fort Lewis Mesa Fire Protection District utilizes various information systems to help our team in quick, efficient and effective responses to emergencies.  Learn about these systems and enroll below.

Active 911

Active911 is a digital messaging system that delivers alarms, maps, and other critical information instantly to first responders.  Active911 also allows response efforts to be monitored in real time.

About Active 911
Active911 can be delivered to phones which can receive text messages (SMS). The delivered text message is enhanced on smart phones to include mapping information which can be integrated into the phone’s navigation software.
We have arranged Durango Dispatch to deliver a message thru Active911 at the same time they dispatch us thru the pagers. Though limited by cellular coverage, these Active911 messages often times are received when regular pages are not.
If this sounds like a service you can use, just send a mail to office@flmfire.org with your phone number, phone carrier, and type of phone so your account can get set up.

ImageTrend

FLMFPD has selected ImageTrend to provide Emergency Data Systems services. Specifically we use their FieldBridge product for incident reporting in the field, and RescueBridge for managing incident reports on the desktop.

More About ImageTrend and RescueBridge
RescueBridge provides functions for managing members, apparatus, and stations which are the cornerstones for incident tracking.
Posting our incidents to RescueBridge provides automated integrations to:
  • National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS)
  • National EMS Information System (NEMSIS)
RescueBridge has a complete inventory tracking system for managing PPE, communications, and loose equipment at stations and on apparatus. Member training and certification management are also a part of RescueBridge.

National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS)

The Fort Lewis Mesa Protection District utilizes NFIRS to help our community reduce the risk from fires and other emergencies by reporting our incident data to NFIRS.
